Privacy · Data deletion

Your data. Your exit.

Astroza does not require a human account, but a connected installation creates a persistent device record. You can ask Boumora Labs to delete that server-side record and its associated configuration.

Last updated 10 August 2026

What you can delete

A verified deletion request covers the Astroza server data associated with the relevant device, including:

  • The device registration, public security key, and pairing identity.
  • Encrypted M3U or Xtream source configuration.
  • Synced favorites, category preferences, and provider expiry metadata.
  • Optional privacy-passkey verification data.
  • Active web-management sessions linked to the device.

Never email a playlist password, provider username, M3U URL, privacy passkey, or stream credentials. We do not need them to process a deletion request.

How to request deletion

Find the relevant device

Open Astroza TV or the setup portal and note the device name and server-assigned Device ID, if displayed.

Send the request

Email support@astrozatv.com with the subject “Astroza data deletion request,” or choose Privacy or data deletion on the support form.

Complete ownership verification

We may ask you to confirm control through the paired device or a signed device challenge. This protects the device owner from unauthorized deletion.

Receive confirmation

We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days, unless a shorter period is required or a lawful retention exception applies.

Data on your device

Server deletion does not automatically erase information stored only on your Android device. Current watch progress and viewing history are local. To remove local Astroza data, clear the app’s storage in Android settings or uninstall the app from the device.

Removing the app does not necessarily delete the existing server record, so complete both steps if you want the local and server-side data removed.

Limited retention

We may retain the minimum information required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or legal obligations until the relevant retention period expires. Data in rotating backups may persist briefly before being overwritten and will not be restored to active use.

An independent third-party provider may hold its own account or viewing records. Boumora Labs cannot delete data controlled by that provider; contact the provider directly for its deletion process.
