Install on Android TV or a TV box

  1. Open Downloader on your TV. If it is not installed, look for Downloader by AFTVnews in your device’s app store.
  2. In its URL field, enter 7571334 and choose Go. The destination is the Astroza TV 0.22.0-beta.4 APK.
  3. When the download finishes, choose Install. If Android asks, allow installation from Downloader in your device’s settings, then return to the downloaded APK. The option may be called “Install unknown apps” or “Unknown sources”.
  4. Choose Open after installation. If Astroza is already installed, choose Update. You can turn Downloader’s installation permission off again afterward.

If Downloader is unavailable, open the download page in a compatible browser and use the direct APK link. This Android APK does not install directly on Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, or iOS.

Install on an Android phone

  1. Open astrozatv.com/download on your phone and tap Download APK.
  2. Open the completed download. If prompted, allow your browser or file manager to install this APK.
  3. Tap Install, or Update if Astroza is already installed. Open Astroza when it finishes.

Requires Android 6.0 or later. Keep your current installation when updating so your identity and local preferences remain available.

Connect your screen and add a playlist

  1. Open Astroza on the device you want to watch on. Find its Device ID and six-digit Device Key on the connection screen or in Settings.
  2. On your phone or computer, open astrozatv.com/setup. Enter both values exactly as shown, or scan the app’s QR code and confirm the prefilled details. Select Connect Astroza TV.
  3. In the portal, open Playlists → Add playlist. Choose the supported source type and enter your own M3U URL or Xtream server address, username, and password. Use the server address exactly as your provider supplies it.
  4. Save your playlist. Return to Astroza and use Refresh / Sync. Select the playlist if you have more than one, then let the library download.

Your device codes control access to its setup. Keep them private. Astroza provides the player; it does not provide media, subscriptions, or provider credentials.

Find your way around

Live TV, Movies, and Series

Categories are vertical lists. On large screens, Live TV shows channels alongside a preview. Movies and Series use poster tiles. On phones, open the category selector to choose a category.

Search, sort, and filter

Home search looks through saved content in the active playlist. Choose All, Live, Movies, or Series. Results cover the library already downloaded to your device. Movies and Series also offer sorting, genre/year filters where metadata is available, and Favorites only.

Make it yours

In Settings → Appearance, choose a color theme or open Customize Home to reorder sections with Move up / Move down. You can hide optional sections; Browse library stays available. Search history can be cleared or disabled in Settings → Your library.

Use your TV remote

Move focus into the side menu to expand it. Choose a page and press OK: the menu collapses and focus moves into that page. Use Back to return from details. In the player, open Playback settings for the available audio, subtitle, display, and playback options.

Keep Astroza up to date

The download page always identifies the current published beta and its matching Downloader code. The current version is 0.22.0-beta.4, code 7571334.

Download it and choose Update. Do not uninstall the app or clear its storage first. Older APK links and their Downloader codes remain tied to those older versions, so revisit the download page when you want the latest release.

A little help, when you need it

Android says “App not installed”

Check available storage and Android 6.0+ compatibility, then download the APK again. If an update reports a conflicting package or signature, keep the current app and contact support with the exact message and installed version. Do not uninstall just to bypass it.

The portal will not connect my device

Recheck the Device ID and six-digit Device Key currently shown on that device, including zeros. Use the codes from the screen you intend to manage. Confirm both the app and browser have internet access, then try again.

My library or search results are missing

Confirm the correct playlist is active, refresh it, and allow its library to download. Clear filters and check hidden categories and parental restrictions. Search only includes content saved on this device. If the source itself fails, verify the address and account with your provider.

Activation cannot be verified

Update to the current beta, reconnect to the internet, and use Refresh activation in Settings. If the message remains, contact Astroza support with your app version, device model, and the displayed error.

There is a gap around the player’s dark overlay

Try Playback settings → Display → Screen compatibility. This optional rendering mode can help when a TV box scales video and controls differently; it may reduce HDR or native 4K output. Keep Standard if you do not need it. If the gap remains, contact support with your device model and a photo of the screen.

A channel buffers or has no picture or sound

Try another item to see whether the problem affects one stream or the whole playlist. Check your connection and the provider’s service. Available audio and subtitle tracks depend on the source. Send support the app version, device model, and error text, without sharing playlist URLs or passwords.
